A Field Trip to Sharjah Technical Institute

On Sunday Mr. Nader, IAT Counselor, told us that we are going to Sharjah to visit the Technical Museum. On Monday we got ready and we got into the bus. First we heard a religious sermon. When we arrived at the Technical Museum, we saw a lot of great things. The nice thing is that if you want to see anything you have to do an experiment for the museum. After that we listened to the lecture about liquid hydrogen. Later we went to a restaurant and had lunch. At the end we came back to IAT Al Ain at 2:00 pm.

Iftar at IAT Al Ain

Last Ramadan we prepared Iftar at the IAT. 30 students attended, there were also 50 visitors.The visitors were from Africa and Asia. Most teachers were there. Some students brought local food. After we had finished Iftar, we prayed than we played many games. The winners were given gifts. At the end we all went home happy.

The Dangers of Speeding in the UAE.

There are many accidents in the UAE and many people speed on their cars. Last weekend I saw an accident. It was a car accident that happened in front of my eyes. People don't care about speeding. Speeding is very dangerous for the body and for the health. Most people die because of speeding. Also most people don't care about their children when they play in the street, so they die because of an accident.I will advise most people to decrease these accidents. First thing don't smoke in the car. Second thing don't use the phone in the car and if they want to talk stop the car. Third thing don't eat or drink any thing in the car. Forth thing don't listen to the loud music.

Rice with Meat and Salad

My favorite meal is rice with meat and salad, its very healthy food. If you want to make this meal you sohuld have kitchen equipment. First you should have rice, fresh meat and vegetables, second put the rice in the hot water. After serve the meat put meat also under the rice. We have rice with meat. To make salad you must have tomatos, cucumbers; lemon and oil.We slice all these in small pieces and put the lemon and oil.

I love Mandi

My favorite meal is Mandi with meat, macaroni, hamburger and Cabab. The Mandi I don't know how to cook because I buy it from Al Yahar kitchen. The Cabab and the hamburger only put in hot oil for 10 minutes. The macaroni put in a hot water with some onions, green pepper and spices.

Smoking is not good for health. It destroys our health system. It comes with cancer. It does not let the body eat or drink. It keeps the body sick. The person who smokes will die. Smoking has more than 40.000 chemicals. It will lead to lung cancer. Nicotine is one of the most harmful chemicals found in cigarettes. When some people smoke, it makes them lazy. Many people think that smoking makes people thin, but in that case all the smokers are not thin. Smoking is a harmful thing for every body.

In the match Al Ain and Marshal, we had a draw. The match was good. Every one played well .In the first half game Al Ain team scored and the first half ended by one for Al Ain zero for Marshal. In the second half, both teams played well in the last two minutes Marshal has scored and the match ended one Al Ain and one Mashal.

Every day I make many things. First, I get up at 6:00am thin I take a shower after that I go to school I finish school at 3:00pm.when I came I go to pray. When I finish I go home. I write my home work. After that I went sleep. After week up I go with my friend to play after I came to home and eat launch then sleep.

A Rose for my Mother in her Day

Mother’s day is a very important day for all mothers. The mother is the first person that care about you. She sat beside you when you were sick or needed to help in anything. This day is her day. Make her happy .Give her a gift. It’s not important to be a very expensive gift because in the end she will see the gift you give her very well and she will like it. I thank Allah because I have nice parents and such a nice family.

Just Say No to Junk Food

The most important thing is that we don’t eat fast food. Many people got problems with their stomach because of fast-food. There are a lot of restaurants and markets in the UAE. They make fast-food. They make the food so fast and they don’t care if it’s good or not. So eat at home It is better than restaurant or markets. Foods Like burger, chips, cola, Pepsi, sweets, chocolates are unhealthy for us. Besides that you will become fat and so lazy. If you eat these foods you should exercise to lose your weight. Try to reduce eating junk food and try to change the food every day too. Don’t go to parties because you will eat junk food there. Actually it is interesting to eat junk food but you will be unhappy if you got overweight. So begin and say “no to junk food”. My last piece of advice is don’t watch junk food channels because it will make you feel you want to eat junk food.

A Tale of Two Schools

Before we come to the IAT we didn’t do the homework. We didn’t concentrate in class. We spoke Arabic all the time. We didn’t study for the exam. But these things are different at the IAT. They ask you to do your homework every day. We must do it at home. We must speak English in class. At the IAT, We have to concentrate with the teacher and respect him. I have a word to say “the future of your education is at the IAT”

Nutrition and Health

If I want to have a healthy body I should eat healthy food. First I should eat fruit everyday. I should have a schedule for exercise everyday. I should eat three meals a day. I should not eat too much unhealthy food like junk food. I should have a healthy breakfast like honey, cheese, eggs and bread. I should sleep early and watch T.V one hour a day. I should walk everyday.

I never have cold

You need vitamins if you want to stay healthy. Fruits are full of vitamins. I eat fruits twice a week and drink milk once a month. I do some exercise about three times a week. I eat healthy breakfast everyday. I never have cold because I eat healthy food. I sleep early around 11 p.m. I watch TV once a week and I eat ice cream once a month.
